Pick your starting point from any of the five participating locations: Red’s Ice House, Shem Creek Bar and Grill, Vickery’s Shem Creek, The Shelter Kitchen and Bar, and R.B.’s Seafood Restaurant. Each establishment will host four to six musical acts, ranging in genre from bluegrass to party rock, throughout the day. A few of the drink specials include $3 Coronas and Corona Lights, as well as $4 liquor specials. “The reason I started doing this is because of my grandmother and my mom,” says Tradd Bastian, CEO and president of Rockers 4 Knockers. “My grandmother was diagnosed with breast cancer when I was in high school. She went into remission for six years, but it came back and she passed when I was in college. My mother was really proactive and caught it early. She has been in remission for seven years now.”
