When: Sat., Oct. 21, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. 2017
Come tour a research vessel, get creative with fish art, and practice your casting at the 2017 SCDNR Open House. Every two years, SCDNR opens the doors of the Marine Resources Center in Charleston to invite the public in for an Open House. Come meet marine biologists and learn about the work they do in a fun, family-friendly setting. Open House is a free event with a lot of activities for kids and grown-ups. Parking will be provided at James Island Charter High School, where shuttles will be waiting to transport visitors to the Marine Center.
