Fans of Carolina beach music will not want to miss this party, Shaggin’ on the Cooper, held on the Mt. Pleasant Pier and hosted by the Charleston County Parks and Recreation Commission. Enjoy the scenic views of the Charleston Harbor while you listen to classic oldies and beach music, brought to you live by Charleston’s own The Hot Pepper Band. There will be food and drinks available for purchase from the pier’s River Watch Cafe. Seating is limited, so bring your own chairs if you can. This is the first in a series of public concerts that will run through September.
