Winner of the American Alliance for Theatre Education’s 2013 Distinguished Play Award, She Kills Monsters is a farce packed with drama. Directed by Associate Professor of Theatre, Evan Parry, the play tells the story of Agnes Evans following the death of her “weirdo” teenage sister, Tilly. Upon her discovery of Tilly’s fantasy role-playing in a Dungeons & Dragons notebook, Agnes becomes enveloped in the game of imaginary adventure and danger, revealing her sister’s emotional insights and adolescent struggles.
