St. Paddy's Day Block Party & Parade

When: Sat., March 12, 12-6 p.m. 2016

Ain’t no party like a St. Paddy’s Day party and Park Circle is doing it right with music, food, and plenty of booze this weekend, celebrating everyone’s favorite excuse to drink green beer. The fun starts at noon with a parade led by the owners of Madra Rua, PC’s resident Irish pub, including performances from the Music Battery drumline, the Charleston Police Pipe and Drum Band, and a special appearance by recently announced Trump supporter, Mayor Keith Summey. Guests can also look forward to street vendors, food trucks, a kids’ zone, and a mechanical bull. After the day’s festivities make sure to stick around for a Punk n’ Drag show at Deja Vu II featuring punk bands like First World Problems, Hearts on Fire, and Hot Charlie, and drag performances hosted by Leslie Lain in between sets.
