When: Sat., July 25, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. 2009
The workshop, taught by Alice Keeney, will begin with the work of notable documentary photographers in order to further understand what makes a documentary photograph "successful". Participants will then have the opportunity to improve their own photography skills by applying this new information while documenting the happenings occurring on a downtown street focusing on natural lighting and composition. Skills acquired throughout the course will sharpen photographers ability to capture all subjects in a more effective manner. There will be a 1-hour lunch break.
