Village Repertory Company presents The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance, written by Jethro Compton and directed by Keely Enright. The story takes the audience into the Wild West of the 1890s with a story full of romance, racial injustice, and violence. A scholar is beaten and left for dead and dumped at the doorstep of a saloon. As the owner of the saloon helps the injured man heal, an outlaw continues to hunt him down. The scholar must then make the decision of whether or not to keep running or to be, as the play calls, The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance. The cast includes Levi Adkins, Joel Watson, Allison Shaw, Rusty Cooler and Village Rep Ensemble members Dave Reinwald, Lara Allred, Robbie Thomas, Patrick Arnheim, and Noah Smith as Liberty Valance.
