I like green eggs, capulets, and Montagues
Beaufort High School's Gingerbread Theater presents this whimsical interpretation of the classic Shakespeare tragedy. The narrator notes early in the show, "Only in reverence to him our great hero/Do we pull 'The Bard' back to our level, zero.

For the little Whos, too
Remember when your teacher had to fast-forward through the ass shot in the classic Romeo and Juliet film? Finding it hard to explain where the drag queen came from in Baz Luhrmann's version? This stage production plays directly to your child's level — including a much shorter running time and a happy ending based on Seuss' "The Sneetches."

Oh, the places they'll go! There's more than enough laughs to get your little one giggling, with sight gags (like the stage crew mistakenly carting out a dress when the narrator says "addressed") and a lot of playful fun with the required rhymes ("Verona's the place from where our play is picked. Two families lived there, and man were they ticked").
