The Two Man Gentlemen Band w/ The V-Tones

When: Tue., Jan. 27 2009

The Manhattan-based acoustic string duo the Two Man Gentlemen Band has been strumming and carrying on since 2005, when they started busking in the streets and subways of N.Y.C. Singer/banjoist Andy Bean and singer/bassist Fuller “Councilman” Condon return to Charleston behind a brand-new collection of naughty and witty ditties (and loud kazoo solos) titled Drip Dryin’ with the Two Man Gentlemen Band. It’s an amusing, gentlemanly, boozy, up-tempo, vaudevillian album of original “olde-time two-man music.” Local uke/acoustic act The V-Tones open. —T. Ballard Lesemann
