Celebrate the 2017 solar eclipse with a prime viewing location in the Lenhardt Garden. Protective eclipse glasses will be provided. Michael Zebrowski, a Vermont-based artist, will present a site-specific installation entitled Eclipse S U R V E Y in conjunction with the path of totality for the 2017 solar eclipse. A surveyor, calibrated to the exact angle of the eclipse, will be mounted in the Lenhardt Garden, and will record 1 minute and 33 seconds of totality via a viewfinder, telescope, timelapse, 360 degree camera and other instruments. A second surveyor will be placed near the direct path of totality and will also record the solar phenomenon.
