Txak Blok

Txakomaniacs will unite for a Txak Blok party that will bring everybody together to taste the freshest Txakoli possible. Txcaoli is a wine from the Basque region of Spain, pronounced cha-co-lee.

The Txak Blok party begins at Fuel on Rutledge at 6 p.m. where guest chef Ben Dennis will host a fish pickin’ prepared in authentic Geechee style in the outdoor courtyard. At 8 p.m., the party moves to Coast on Hutson Alley where Txakoli will be paired with oysters on the half shell and other raw bar selections. At 10 p.m., Chai’s welcomes the party crew (riding on a retired prisoner transport bus) with a spread of roast local pig served with the very rare red Txakoli made from some of the oldest vines in Europe.
