One of the reasons we return to Robert Lange Studios time and again is to see the unique collaborations. And Vanishing Boundaries is no exception. For this exhibit, painters Mia Bergeron and Sergio Lopez team up to present their unique interpretations on women. For Lopez, he takes his cues from Golden Age illustrators, often painting nude females obscured by flowers. Bergeron, on the other hand, delivers her ladies in moody, somber motifs with their faces emerging as if from a granite haze. The contrast of the duos’ work is remarkable.
