Oh, July Fourth. The day when everyone’s a little Irish. Wait, I feel like I’m getting that wrong. Luckily, I didn’t write our Fourth of July round-up, which you should definitely check out. It’s pretty expansive.

Get your patriotic party on earlier in the weekend. You can check out the Harley-Davidson Patriot Tour, the naturalization ceremony at Middleton Place, and an early fireworks display at Folly Beach.

The Saturday on the Edge Arts and Craft Show takes place on Folly Beach on — you guessed it — Saturday.

It doesn’t get more American than baseball; The RiverDogs play Sunday. Actually, maybe it does: See Red, White and Cash at the Village Playhouse.

And it's important to not forget Hawaii. Luau your heart out on July 4.

Theatre 99 has an Improv Jam on Friday and an Improv Riot on Saturday.

You only have this weekend left to solve the mystery in Sherlock Holmes: The Final Adventure.

A smattering of galleries will debut new works at the Summer Stroll on Broad Street.

Rob Fowler’s Mustache Art Show features original works dedicated to the furry facial feature. And there'll be dredlocks galore when Steel Pulse plays Lineup at the Lookout.

It’s not 3-D or IMAX or what have you, but if you watch Avatar at Night Heron Park on Saturday, you’ll at least be in the real outdoors. Or stay inside for Mr. Smith Goes to Washington.

Have a great weekend. Try not to blow any appendages off.
