There’s parties all around this weekend, from the Moonlight Mixer to Shark, Rattle & Roll (the kickoff of Shark Week at the S.C. Aquarium), Sippin’ Saturday, and HoM’s one-year birthday party.

Food for the Soul will benefit the Lowcountry Food Bank.

The Charleston Battery and the Charleston RiverDogs both have games. Saturday’s RiverDogs game will feature the Kindness Beats Blindness RP Auction.

Huff and puff at the Fight for Air Climb and Ultra Climb, or the IOP 10K/5K Beach Run/Walk might be a little easier.

Stores on Daniel Island (and from beyond) are getting together for a sidewalk sale.

Besides a special stand-up performance by Kenny Zimlinghaus, Theatre 99 has Blast Off?, the Theatre 99 Improv Jam, and Improv Riot.

The next big things will perform Alice in Wonderland Jr., and they’ll have plays read at What If?’s Playwrights Festival. The Summer Slam performance of Love Song continues.

Lady wrestlers don’t get enough attention, especially not ones from the ‘80s, but they will in the screening of GLOW: The Story of the Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling. Meanwhile, the League of Women Voters host Patriocracy.

The A Long Time Ago.... Lectures finish up at the City Gallery. That means Spoleto season is officially over.

The animatronic dinosaurs at the Charleston Area Convention Center probably won’t eat you, but you should be careful anyway.

The Craft Beer Boat Cruise makes another trip around the Charleston Harbor.

Awendaw Green has a Singer-Songwriter Showcase, while Y’all Entertainment celebrates their launch.

If you’ve ever wanted to make a boat friend (as in a friend who owns a boat), your best bet may be at Sea Ray of Charleston AquaPalooza 2012. Even if your social skills aren’t the best, there will still be live music and more.

The dance battles at the hip-hop showcase at the Music Farm on Saturday will raise money for cancer.

And in honor of Marley Lion, who was tragically killed this summer, his friends have put together the Marley Lion Music Festival at James Island County Park.
