The weather outside is frightful, which means we're craving hot pho, steaming oysters, wood-fired pizzas, and bottles of big, rich red. Pop around town to find all of the above and much more this week — just make sure to save some room for turkey day, cluckleheads.

Monday

Graft Wine Shop will be at Leon's Oyster Shed starting at 6 p.m. for the Somm 3 Premiere with draft rose from Matthiasson, Champagne from Larmandier-Bernier, a blind tasting with Femi Oyediran, and a viewing of documentary Somm 3. Leon's will have some menu favorites like hush puppies, avocado toast, fried chicken, marinated cucumber salad, and black eyed pea salad.

Farmstead Co. pops up at The Daily starting at 6 p.m. with starters, plates, and mains.

Sap Lai pops up at Charles Towne Fermentory every Monday through the end of December starting at 5:30 p.m. Pair your pint with some steaming pho.

Tuesday

Head to Palmetto Brewing starting at 6:30 p.m. for a Rodney Scott pig pickin' brewery dinner. There will be a five course family style barbecue dinner, brews, and music from Jonathan Lovett Trio. The event benefits the Charleston Charter School of Math and Science.

Short Grain pops up at Edmund's Oast Brewing Co. starting at 11 a.m. — this Tuesday they'll have barbecue cauliflower for all the veg heads out there.

Didn't get your pho fix on Monday? Head to The Daily for Sap Lai fresh rolls, fried egg noodles, Laos Pad Thai, and more starting at 6 p.m.

Join Husk executive chef Travis Grimes for a wine tasting at The Delaney House at hotel Bella Grace starting at 5 p.m. There will be Lowcountry sourced small bites paired with the wine.



It's Edmund's Oast Exchange beer tasting Tuesday starting at 5:30 p.m. This month $5 donations go to AMOR Healing Kitchen.

It's pizza night at Charles Towne Fermentory with pop-up Embers and Ashes starting at 5:30 p.m. Read all about the concept here.

Wine & Company hosts a Rhone River French wine tasting starting at 5:30 p.m. Guests will taste five wines.

Taste French wine at Bistro A Vin starting at 5 p.m. Only $10 per person.

Wednesday

Celebrate cooler temps and fall flavors at Taste of Hutson Alley. Starting at 6 p.m., stroll down the alley and grab bites and libations from chef-attended stations representing 39 Rue De Jean, Coast Bar and Grill, Michael's on The Alley, The Victor Social Club, Vincent Chicco's, Virginia's on King, and Good Food Catering.

Bundle up and head to Middleton Place starting at 5:30 p.m. for the season finale of garden strolls and wine tasting.

High to Lowcountry BBQ pops up at Tradesman Brewing Co. starting at 5 p.m.

Charlotte's third largest brewery, Birdsong Brewing, throws a market launch party at The Bower with founders Chris and Tara Goulet on hand with the brewery's year-round beers.

Thursday

From 6 to 10 p.m. take place in the annual March of Dimes Signature Chef Auction at Memminger. This black tie evening, with tastes from restaurants like Zero Restaurant + Bar and Cannon Green, raises money to improve the health of moms and babies.

Bistro Toulouse hosts a Beaujolais Nouveau release party starting at 5 p.m. Celebrate the food and wine of Beaujolais, Burgundy, and The Rhone. Special features include chicken consomme with fois gras and truffle, poached eggs and bacon, ribeye with pommes Dauphinoise, roast chicken with pomme puree, and red wine poached pears with honey spice ice cream, all paired with vino.

Taste wines from around the world at Elliotborough Mini Bar from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. This is their first wine tasting event, with four wine samples available for $10.

Blair Machado is back at The Daily with the Farmstead Co. pop-up starting at 6 p.m.

Grab some bomb hard cider from Merrow's Garden Bar Thurs.-Sat. at Workshop.

Taste wine at Edmund's Oast Exchange starting at 5:30 p.m. with donations going to AMOR Healing Kitchen.

From 6 to 9 p.m. choose beer or wine for this Beer Vs. Wine Dinner at FortyEight: A Wine Bar. Enjoy live music and food paired with your beverage.

Friday

Viola the bookmobile drives over to Frothy Brewing starting at 5 p.m.

Starting at 7:30 p.m. have a shuckin' good time at the SC Aquarium biannual Oysterfest. Enjoy sustainably sourced small plates and beer and wine.

The Castejones pop up at Munkle Brewing starting at 5 p.m. with Spanish style tapas.

Mt. Pleasant's Wine Cellar Wine and Gifts celebrates 10 years in the biz starting at 6 p.m. with great wine, food, and tons of prizes.

House of Brews hosts a day-long Lowcountry Food Bank drive with eats from Bearded Dogs starting at 5 p.m. Every person who brings in dry/canned goods will receive a free pint.

2Nixons sets up shop at Proof Fri. and Sat. starting at 6 p.m.

The seventh annual Smoke on the Harbor BBQ Throwdown takes place starting at Patriots Point starting at 5 p.m. Two days of 'cue competition include categories like chicken wings, chicken, pork ribs, pork, and beef brisket.

Saturday

Moe's Crosstown celebrates 20 years of slinging burgers starting at 5 p.m. with a New Belgium tap takeover, food specials, and a raffle.

Visit three Lowcountry farms and learn about everything from meat processing to harvesting herbs during the Lowcountry Regional Farm Tour leaving from Local Works  at 9 a.m.

Slay your morning at Ink N Ivy's Beyonce brunch starting at 11 a.m.  There will be music from Dee Jay Rubin and $15 bottles of Champagne with a mimosa bar.

The Alley celebrates six years of bowling, brews, and sliders starting at noon. The day kicks off with an AYCE oyster roast for $20, then free play on arcade games along with skee ball and hooper fever tournaments, plus a $6 special menu with loaded tots, wings, pizza spring rolls, nachos, frozen cocktails, Charleston Mix Bloodys, and more.

From 5 to 10 p.m. head to Workshop for the Night Bazaar with tons of local vendors, plus libations from EOBC and Merrow's Garden Bar.

Help raise money for animals in need at the 19th annual Charleston Animal Society Chili Cook Off starting at noon. There will be live music, 100 chili teams, oyster, beer and wine, plenty of pups for adoption, and kids' games.

Sunday

Satsang Yoga Charleston hosts a vegan potluck and open mic to celebrate Thanksliving starting at 5 p.m. 

Tattooed Moose Johns Island throws their first oyster roast of the season starting at 2 p.m. There will be music from the Black Diamond Band, two jump castles, a Wicked Weed brewing tent, a mechanical shark, face painting, plus barbecue, hot dogs, and $20 AYCE oysters.

Roast hop on Sunday to the Shipyard Park Swig & Swine shindig happening from noon to 5 p.m. There will be axe throwing, a pig pickin', live music, a whiskey bar, and beer.

Trick your mind into thinking you're spending the winter in warmer temps at Republic's Tropical Brunch, Thanksgiving Edition, starting at 4 p.m. There will be tropical house music, drink specials, and VIP packages available.
