Yoga Royale

When: Tue., Sept. 23, 5:30-6:30 p.m. 2014

Yoga is a great way to wind-down, but combine it with a cold beer and you can om your way to inner peace and serenity with even more ease. The Royal American is hosting the third Yoga Royale event, a yoga class open to the public (21 and up, of course). Join instructor Emily Shoemaker on the porch for an hour of all-levels, easy, and fun yoga flow. “I’ve been doing yoga my whole life and teaching it for three years,” says Shoemaker. “I used to live in Manhattan and sell mortgage bonds. Then I moved here and received the certification to teach yoga.” Shoemaker knows exactly how tough the grind can get. Her knowledge and expertise can help you simmer down after a long day at the office. Music will play in the background while you bend, bow, and bridge your way through the class. The day of the Yoga Royale happens to be the same day as the autumn equinox as well. During the autumn equinox, night and day are of equal length, making it a perfect time to explore and practice your balance. After you align yourself with the universe, The Royal American staff encourages participants to grab a complimentary draft beer. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to find a little zen and wash it down with a brew.
