Spring is here, beckoning Charleston ladies to once again seek out their flirtatious dresses - last seen in September - stored in the backs of closets everywhere. The sun is shining brightly (as are my legs) and the blooms inspire a wardrobe full of bright florals, swirling skirts, and lighter colors. Without fail, I dream up outfits in my sleep and awaken to the morning with intentions of fulfilling the most imaginative ambitions, only to scour my closet and realize that my dresses are a bit duller, the stitches less secure, and the material more stretched than I remembered it. Today, a hearty search produced only one navy blue dress with a haphazardly-stitched repair on a seam and a bleach spot inked out with black Sharpie.
Luckily, Whitewash and Flax's warehouse sale has begun. Saved in the knick of time! This sale begins today and lasts through Sunday. Just a hop, skip, and jump over to Mt. Pleasant, this sale should not be missed, whether you dream in vibrant colors or not.
See you there.
