Welcome Estella Vitae

Peter and Ginger Evans, owners of Stella Nova salons, are branching out with a new venture called Estella Vitae. This little boutique tucked away on Society Street has had us drooling ever since we caught wind of it — it's exactly the sort of place I'd like to open one day. Both floors have various rooms with unique themes, like "Everything but the Kitchen Sink" on the first floor, which features eclectic housewares, linens, lingerie, and vintage clothing and jewelry, and there's another room with "garden treasures." On the second floor, "The Speakeasy" contains artwork and furniture, while "My Sister's Room" has distinctive footwear, clothes from up-and-coming designers, and travel necessities. Much of the merchandise was hand-picked by the Evans during their travels. They've even got their own candle and fragrance line. We're excited to welcome such an eclectic shop to Charleston's shopping scene, and we're hoping it sparks a trend toward more funky, vintage options here in the future. Here are a few shots we snagged from their website.
