Old Mt. Pleasant boutique expands to include clothing

Out of Hand takes on the body

Out of Hand has been providing Mt. Pleasant's Old Village with a dose of approachable glamour for the last several years. Specializing in home decor, paper goods, and wedding supplies — thanks to sister company Ooh! Events — the tucked-away shop is a must for shoppers in the know.

And now they're expanding to apparel. Store manager Meredith Eads says they have a room full of new clothes that reflect the shop's feminine aesthetic — organic, vintage-inspired, simple, and eclectic. Think a more affordable version of Anthropologie — most pieces will be priced under $100. For fall, expect to find roomy cardigans, lace, and florals.

Out of Hand's clothing branch is located in their shop at 133 Pitt St. Stop by the grand opening on Thurs. Sept. 16 for first dibs on the clothes along with drinks and snacks. Call (843) 856-3585 for more information.
