Hampden Clothing is hosting a Tucker trunk show on Thurs. April 21. Known for loose-fitting dresses, and spirited '80s-inspired prints, designer Gaby Basora’s fashions have reached international audiences and are sure to be seen by fashionistas on King Street.
Basora is a traveler, mother, treasure hunter, and art enthusiast who gets her inspiration from all over the world. She crafted her first piece in 2005. After feeling that her wardrobe lacked the versatility to represent her lifestyle, she created a loose-fitting silk blouse that would go on to become a trademark of the line. With her new collection, she hopes to provide customers with the versatility and style to represent their own lives. She uses a variety of prints including animal (birds prints seem to be a favorite), floral, and abstract.
This is Tucker's sixth collection. The trunk show will be held Thurs. April 21 from 2-7 p.m. at Hampden Clothing on King Street. Head to tuckerbygabybasora.com to check out the collection and learn more about the creative woman behind it all.
