Curiosity has been settling into their new space at 56 1/2 Queen St. for the last few weeks. After several recent antiquing trips around the South, owner Courtney Laine is ready for the shop's official grand opening on Sat. Dec. 3.

Laine channeled her love of antiques into an Etsy store last year, and after finding success with that, she decided to try her hand at a bricks-and-mortar. The shop is stocked with a well-curated collection of on-trend, affordable antiques and home goods like colorful seltzer bottles, silverware, cake stands, trophies, and soda crates. Laine also has an eye for quirky conversation starters like a vintage circus peanut candy mold and an antique French champagne rack. She has a stock of goodies she rents out for vintage-inspired events as well.

Shoppers at the grand opening will enjoy 20 percent off everything, mini doughnuts from Glazed, and a free tote bag with a purchase (while supplies last). Stop by between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. to shop. Curiosity's regular hours are Wed.-Sun., 11 a.m.-5 p.m., plus Mondays and Tuesdays by chance or appointment. We also hear she'll be open late for the Art Walk on Friday.
