The Mt. Pleasant Towne Centre is best known for its big chains, from Ulta to Belk to P.F. Chang's. But The Southern Curator recently took up residence in the shopping center, adding a touch of local flavor to its surroundings.

Owner Donna Webb, who formerly worked in interior design and real estate, quietly opened the shop back in May. She stocks a mix of vintage and locally made items with a little Southern flair. Her most popular items so far have been the handmade pillows and T-shirts she designed that reference local neighborhoods and foodways.

The Southern Curator is hosting its grand opening celebration on Thurs. June 14 from 5-8 p.m. Stop by 1329 Theater Drive to see what they're all about. Find out more here.
