Something blue, perhaps?

If you want to be well-heeled on your wedding day, then you'll do well to head to 444 King St. starting this Wed. May 8 for a bridal atelier pop-up from shoe company Margaux. The pop-up kicks off with an opening reception this Wednesday from 5-8 p.m.

Margaux describes itself as "footwear's first fit-focused brand." With a factory in Spain that uses Italian leather, Margaux hand crafts each pair of shoes, including the pieces in their just-launched bridal line, which makes its debut in the Holy City. Consider this new line to be a bridal-inspired version of the brand's classic styles.

Each shoe can come in those traditional bridal colors like ivory, blush, powder, and blue, and can be personalized with engraved monogram plates and "something blue" linings. Prices for these special shoes start at $245.
